This program aims to systematically train and empower outstanding leaders and core members of nonprofit organizations, addressing the critical shortage of professional talent in China's philanthropic sector while fostering a more sustainable and specialized industry ecosystem. The program cultivates visionary leaders with strategic thinking and global perspectives, combining rigorous academic training with practical leadership development. To date, it has nurtured 347 high-impact professionals who now serve as key drivers of social innovation across China's nonprofit landscape.

The report offers a comprehensive, data-driven analysis of China’s charitable donations, serving as a key reference for policymakers, scholars, and practitioners in optimizing resource allocation and strategic decision-making.

With funding support from Shanghai Zijiang Foundation, Smile Tomorrow Foundation, Vanke Foundation, Lao Niu Foundation, Le’an Cixiao Foundation, and Hengshen Charity Foundation, the National Two Sessions Philanthropy Policy Proposal Observation Report (2022) and National Two Sessions Philanthropy Policy Proposal Observation Report (2023) were successfully compiled, yielding constructive insights for China’s philanthropic sector. In 2024, Shanghai Zijiang Foundation joined forces with eight other foundations to co-fund the National Two Sessions Philanthropy Policy Proposal Observation Report (2024), further advancing data-driven advocacy and policy research in the nonprofit field.
